Løvold Havpark is a project that will be a centre for actors in the marine sector. The focus will be on innovation, collaboration, technology and sustainability. The park will consist of 9,500 square meters of existing premises and a new, modern and climate-optimized office in wood that Martinsons is constructing, delivering and assembling.
"It will be a spectacular and beautiful office where we make use of all our know-how when it comes to building efficiently, smartly and sustainably," says Stig Axelsson.
The office will be around 5,000 square meters, be built on six floors and is expected to be completed in April 2026. The main contractor for the project is Hent, which Martinsons has worked with previously, in Sweden, on the construction of Sara Cultural Centre in Skellefteå, one of the world's tallest wooden buildings.
"The collaboration was excellent when we built Sara Cultural Centre and it is promising for Løvold Havpark, it will be nice to work together again," says Stig Axelsson.
Martinsons has 90 years of experience and thousands of completed projects in Sweden and is now also investing in the Norwegian market.
"As part of Holmen, we offer value-creating expertise at all stages, from responsible forestry and the production of glulam and CLT, to construct, project management and finished assembly, so we really believe that we are filling a gap in Norway. Løvold Havpark feels like a great start, it's a deal we're proud of," says Stig Axelsson.
